More than 50% of employees quit their jobs because of their managers. More than 80% of employees don’t trust their managers to do the right thing. These and other studies show that just because someone manages people doesn’t necessarily make them a good leader. Good leaders aren’t necessarily born. Instead, they’re made.

In fact, Harvard Business Review reports that only 5% of our leadership and persuasion ability is based on our cognitive ability.
